Preserve Nicollet Island

DeLaSalle High School has proposed to build a football/soccer complex on Nicollet Island parkland. While we recognize the significant contributions the high school has made to the island and to the City of Minneapolis, and empathize with desires to have an athletic facility directly adjacent to the school, we oppose this proposal in this location.
